OXYL8 Bookings – Terms and Conditions

COURSE BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY

For Public Courses

This policy applies to all online Webinar and classroom-based courses delivered by OXYL8 Ltd.

By booking a course, you agree to the terms outlined below. You should keep a copy of these Policy conditions for future reference.

OXYL8 reserves the right to:

amend course content or structure
change course location or delivery format
substitute tutors where necessary

Courses are subject to minimum delegate numbers. In the rare event that OXYL8 cancels a course, delegates will be given at least two week’s notice with an option of transferring to the next available course date or having a full refund of the fees.

Payment Terms

Full payment must be received a minimum of 10 days prior to the course start date
Payment can be made via BACS, CHAPS or Debit/Credit card

⚠️ Delegates will not be permitted to attend or sit examinations unless full payment has been received.

Transferring/Cancelling a Booking

A booking can be transferred up to two times free of charge if OXYL8 is notified more than 4 weeks before Course start date. Subsequent transfers will incur a £50 + VAT admin fee.

If changes to the current booking are made less than 4 weeks before the Course (even if transferred to future dates), then the following cancellation charges will apply:

Cancellation notice Charge

2 – 4 weeks 25% of course fee
1 – 2 weeks 50% of course fee
Less than 1 week 100% of invoice fee

Please note

All transfer fees are subject to VAT
OXYL8 may, at its discretion, allow transfers/cancellations outside these terms in exceptional circumstances
If the Invoice has already been paid, then refunds will be made accordingly (no refund if cancelled less than one week before the Course)

Changing Delegate Name

You may substitute a delegate at any time at no additional cost (as long as for the same course).

Non-attendance

Failure to attend a course without prior notice will result in the full course fee being payable.

Additional needs:

It is the responsibility of the booker to notify OXYL8 in advance of any special requirements.

OXYL8 cannot guarantee accommodation of such requirements unless agreed in writing prior to the course.

BOHS Exam Fees:

Please note that the BOHS exam fees are set externally and may change without or little notice (they are usually reviewed December/January each year).

OXYL8 reserves the right to pass on any increases in exam fees (even when a booking has already been confirmed).

Force Majeure

OXYL8 shall not be liable for failure to deliver services due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

illness
travel disruption
venue issues
technical failures

Limitation of Liability

OXYL8’s total liability shall not exceed the total course fee paid (inc exams)

Data Protection

Delegate information will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and used only for course delivery and certification purposes. Please refer to our GDPR policy for further information.
