The course focuses on improving basic skills and updating knowledge on DSEAR and ATEX requirements integral to the completion of competent CoSHH Reg 9 LEV Thorough Examination and Test (TExT) Reports.

Ideally suited to LEV specialists who have previously completed the BOHS P601 LEV course and who would like to increase their knowledge and understanding of DSEAR/ATEX issues in LEV; particularly so when completing CoSHH TExT reports/records.
The MasterClass provides 7 hours of relevant contact time which can be counted towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD). A BOHS “Endorsed Course” digital Certificate is awarded at the conclusion of the event.
Requirements
This course is focused on skills and knowledge upgrading and maintenance for all LEV Specialists but particularly for delegates who will have already completed the BOHS P601 LEV Examination and Testing course (or equivalent).
It may also be valuable for those who manage LEV (Testing, Design, Maintenance etc) topic areas within their workplace.

- Relevance of DSEAR to LEV and ‘Hierarchy of Control’
- Understanding Explosive Dust/Vapour Characteristics
- Design Considerations for LEV systems
- Considerations of DSEAR at TEXT
- Good and Bad Designs (Examples from Woodworking, Paint Spraying, Aerosol Filling, Metal Grinding, Food Dusts, Battery Charging, Solvent Handling)
- Questions & Answers Session
